Web analytics
Web analytics is a fundamental tool for any business in the digital age. It enables the collection, measurement, and analysis of data related to website traffic and user behaviour.
This data is crucial for understanding the performance and effectiveness of a website, as well as for making informed decisions in terms of marketing and business strategies.
One of the most widely used and recognised web analytics platforms is Google Analytics. A little while ago, Google has released its latest version, known as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which offers significant improvements and new functionalities to help businesses gain even more valuable insights into user behaviour.
The implementation of the new GA4 is essential to stay abreast of the latest trends and changes in user behaviour, as the growing presence of mobile devices and the rise of social networks have significantly evolved user navigation patterns in recent years.
One of the main advantages of GA4 is its focus on user-centric analysis. This new version provides a deeper insight into user engagement, allowing businesses to better understand how users interact with their website, from their first visit to potential conversion.
How we do it at Mirai
We have developed our own tracking panel that allows us, among other things, to continue tracking the website when users interact with the Mirai Booking Engine, thus providing you not only with data regarding their behaviour on the website, but also information regarding the contribution of each channel to your direct sales.
For this to be possible, it is necessary to insert a small piece of code (script) on your website; if we at Mirai have developed your page, you don't have to do anything else, we have already done it for you. If, on the other hand, you work with a website from another provider, we can provide you with the script and instructions for your webmaster to do it.
Don't you have a Google Analytics 4 account?
You can set it up by following the steps provided by Google. Here's the information link. Once done, you need to share the MEASUREMENT ID with us (it will be something like this: G-C87PZ33SFY) so that we can add it to the dashboard. You can find this ID in the "Data Streams" → "Web stream details" section within the "Admin" section of the Analytics property you have created.
If all of this seems a bit complicated or if you simply don't have much time and want us to take care of it, feel free to request it by writing to [email protected].
This setup has a cost of €99 + VAT, which will be invoiced as a one-time charge to the account you have indicated in the contract.
